Please see the DeSoto County Republican Executive Committee’s legislative priorities for the 2024 session that was passed at our November 21, 2023 meeting as a resolution. I hope that other elected officials that represent DeSoto County help support these priorities.

Dear DeSoto County School Board, Board of DeSoto County Commissioners, and City Council of Arcadia:
The DeSoto County Republican Executive Committee passed resolution 23-02 at our November 21, 2023 meeting, which puts in writing our support for Israel. I hope that the BOCC, School Board, and City Council have done the same and, if not, will follow our lead. This resolution had overwhelming support during its passage. A key element that was discussed and debated in regard to the resolution was the addition of “WHEREAS, whoever blesses Israel will be blessed; and”, which is based on the biblical promises from God.
